980326aaronbishop-collegeradio-sp.mp3 2.2MB (4:45)
This is a "sound portrait" for my senior year Adv.Radio Production class at Boston University. It includes an intro by myself, but the goal was to create a piece told entirely by actualities and sound effects. The topic was college radio in Boston.
990803jason-beaubien-respond-cd.mp3 3.6MB (8:48)
This is local insert for Morning Edition on WBUR 90.9FM when I was working there as a Broadcast Recording Tech (aka Production Grunt). The story is about a womens' shelter in Somerville, MA called "Respond" and the benefit album of the same name that gained a lot of popularity on the Boston folk music scene. The reporter was Jason Beaubien, who wrote & researched the piece. I recorded Jason's tracks, pulled his actualities from his interview tapes, worked with him to pick the music from the album you hear in the piece, and then assembled the entire piece in ProTools. Like most WBUR local ME pieces, this was all done the night before it aired. As an extra bonus for the ME board operator I tweaked the music at the end so that he could post it to the end of the local break.
infinitemind372-multitasking-atc.mp3 3.2MB (7:59)
This is a segment in The Infinite Mind's show on "Multitasking" that was originally aired Apr.2005. I voiced, edited and helped produce the segment; it's about Air Traffic Controllers.

RadioLINK is a NPR-style tech/news show I created, produced, hosted and engineered back in 2001. It aired on WMFO at Tufts University. While the skills reflected in the show are somewhat dated now...I include it to demonstrate my abilities to juggle four or five people's jobs at once.
